Owner and Grand Master Herb Perez, who won a gold medal inMore Taekwondo during the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics, has made the school what it is today. As a recognized Olympic training facility, it's open seven days a week and has classes for both male and female students of all ages. In addition to martial arts, the school offers fitness and dance classes with the goal of making it fun for everyone in the family to join in.

The studio's black belt instructors provide all students with 30 minutes of private instruction per week. Students -- men, women, teens or children -- can attend as many group lessons as they wish.

They specialize in private lessons, teaching a variety of string and wind instruments, as well as voice (see pics for details). If you're just getting started, you can ask them about rentals.

Peninsula Musical Arts Association

The Peninsula Musical Arts Association (PMAA) was founded in October of 1992 when Fred De Boer approached Foster City'sMore Parks and Recreation Department with "the concept of forming a community chorus." Although the Parks and Recreation Department provides PMAA with rehearsal and concert space it does not directly  support the organization. Foster City Chorale formed in 1994 and was invited to perform at the White House the following year.
