The Foster City teen center The VIBE was opened in 2000 within Leo J. Ryan Park to provide a place for teens to hang out. Foosball, air hockey, ping-pong and pool tables are available indoors, as well as a large-screen television. The VIBE hosts special dances, barbecues and pool tournaments and is also home to a skate park. The Grub Shop sells tasty treats at low prices onsite. The VIBE space can be rented out for special events on Saturdays between 8am and 2pm and all day on Sundays.
