Island United Church

<p>Founded in 1969, the Island United Church is a welcoming church that serves three demominations: United Church of Christ, Presbyterian and United Methodist Church. The church is "open and affirming," meaning that they include everyone regardless of their race, sexual orientation, gender, economic background, etc. Rev. Melinda McLain is currently acting as Interim Pastor. The church is small, but full of spirit, and music is an integral part of this with an active choir using the "Hyms of Truth and Light" hymnal.</p> <p>The All Are Friends Montessori Preschool is attached to this church as well, providing excellent care for children. In addition, a Church School runs during the school year.</p>
