Foster City Library

Foster City is home to one of the busiest and most extensive libraries in San Mateo County. Built in 1997, the Foster City Library underwent a major renovation in 2010 and now boasts cozy common areas, self-service technology, including a Automated Materials Handling System for checking out and returning material, a playful children's room and new "Teen Spot." The 23,708 square foot building has intuitive signs, paint colors and carpet to assist readers in finding their way through the buiding.
