Fore! Glow-in-the-Dark Golf Tournament Hits Foster City

FRIDAY, MAY 17
5% Community Day to benefit the San Mateo County Parks Foundation
  • Friday, May 17 
  • 1010 Park Place, San Mateo
  • 5% of our total sales will be donated to the San Mateo County Parks & Recreation Foundation. Plus, Whole Foods will donate $1 extra for every new like on the Whole Foods' Facebook page through May 17. https://www.facebook.com/events/593378530672240/

SATURDAY, MAY 18
5th Grade Happening
  • Saturday, May 18; 6 - 9 PM
  • The VIBE: 670 Shell Blvd., Foster City
  • A night of games, music, and food - just for 5th graders! All participants must be currently enrolled in 5th grade to attend. A fee of $15 includes dinner and all activities. Pre-registration is required. Please contact cperalta@fostercity.org or call 650-286-3395 for more information.
Spring Glow Ball Golf Tournament
  • Saturday, May 18; 7PM - Midnight
  • Mariners Point Golf Course, 2401 E 3rd Ave Foster City
  • It's an Adult 5 Player Team Scramble with 18 holes. Regular play begins at 7:15pm with a shotgun start. Final play is 9 holes of "Lights Out Glow Ball." $50 per player or $250 per team. Registration fee includes: Green fees, two glow in the dark golf balls per player, dinner, and t-shirt. The Golf Tournament benefits the Foster City Youth and Teen Foundation.

Bay Area Flirting Convention
  • Saturday, May 18; 7:30pm - Midnight
  • 1770 S Amphlett Blvd, San Mateo
  • Meet new friends, hear a keynote, compete in a flirting contest and dance the night away. $15/advance (by May 16) or $20/door. Adults of all ages welcome. Dressy attire requested for this upscale hotel. 
SUNDAY, MAY 19
Swim Across America - Fundraiser
  • Sunday, May 19 7:00a to 12:00p
  • 1700 W. Hillsdale Blvd., San Mateo
  • The College of San Mateo hosts swim events and an aqua aerobics class at the pools for a fundraiser to fight cancer.
Bay Area Vintage, Antiques & Collectibles Fair
  • Sunday, May 19; 4 PM
  • Cow Palace, 2600 Geneva Ave Daly City
  • Come to The Bay Area Vintage, Antiques & Collectibles Fair, held the third Sunday of the month indoors at the Cow Palace. Shop up to 400 sellers of vintage & antique furniture, clothing, jewelry, ephemera, toys, art and local artisans of repurposed, upcycled and salvaged goods.
