PHOTOS: The Building of a Carnival

Have you driven by the area near Leo Ryan Park on Shell Boulevard in Foster City? Crews are already hard at work building this weekend's carnival and Arts & Wine Festival.

The excitement is building! Every few minutes, a new structure is going up near for this weekend's

A ferris wheel is just starting to jut into the sky, brightly-colored booths for ice cream and funnel cakes are taking form, and engineers are hard at work putting together the pieces of small rollercoasters.
