Foster City Flash 12B Places First in State Championships

Foster City Flash 12B team finished first in the USSSA State Championships -- the only team to represent California in the top 20.

Congratulations to the Foster City Flash 12B team for their recent 1st place finish in the USSSA State Championships! FC Flash is the only team to represent California in the top 20.

This tournament season the FC Flash 12B team has participated in 8 tournaments, advancing to the championship game in each one. Additionally they haveearned first place in 4 tournaments and second place in 4 tournaments.

This all star team consists of: Amanda Follansbee, Ananya Koneti, Annika Furr, Bailey McDonough, Brooke Hager, Carlee Miller, Emily Savage, Haley Koga, Kayleigh Puccinelli, Prisilla Sanchez, Rebecca Moeckli and Sophia Kajani.

These girls are working hard to complete the last two tournaments of their season. Their last stop will be in West Covina at the USSSA Fastpitch World Series at the end of July.

They are hosting a fundraiser this weekend, their one weekend off from softball, in order to raise money for their journey.
