Aragon High's Bowman Picks Manhattan

Aragon High softball standout Elena Bowman has committed to Division I Manhattan College (New York City).
Bowman, a senior catcher/infielder, committed during the early signing period, the school’s website reported.
Bowman has been a starter since her freshman year and was a first-team All-Peninsula Athletic League Bay and All-Central Coast Section selection each of the last two years.

The 5-foot-8 slugger put up monstrous numbers each of the last two seasons. She hit .413 with a .733 slugging percentage as a junior and batted .430 with 31 RBIs the previous year.
Manhattan competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Jaspers (25-23, 12-4) tied for second in the MAAC last season.
