Patch Whiz Kid of the Week: Natalie Armstrong

Each week, we'll feature a local child as our Whiz Kid of the Week.

Whiz Kid:  Natalie Armstrong, 7

School:

Accomplishments: Natalie writes books and illustrates (she's not published yet) and was recently the only one selected from her class to go to a luncheon at school with an author. She tutors kids in math, has a perfect attendance record and already knows how to type.

"[Natalie was] one of two students from her class to meet with School District on Bullying and she came in third place in running behind two boys, beating out the rest!" her proud father Zack Armstrong said.

Key to awesomeness: "Her best quality is that she is loving and forgiving," Armstrong said.

Know a great kid who made Eagle Scout or did your local soccer team take the championship? They may be our next Patch Whiz Kid honoree.  Submit your nomination in our comment box below or e-mail the information to sarahy@patch.com. Be sure to include all of the following information: nominator's namen, nominator's e-mail, Whiz Kid's name, age, school, accomplishments and key to awesomeness (what made him/her successful?)
