No Election Necessary For High School Board

Incumbents only candidates for seats on the San Mateo Union High School District Board of Trustees.

While much attention has been paid here and throughout the county to city council races and ballot measures, one local race has flown under the radar. The San Mateo Union High School District Board of Trustees had seats up for election this year. However, only the incumbents with expiring terms decided to run, resulting in a no election situation.

Incumbents Stephen Rogers and Marc Friedman will keep their positions on the San Mateo Union High School District Board.

Friedman took his post following former Board Member Dave Pine’s election to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors in May.
