Is that tomato organic or genetically modified?

Here's how to read those produce labels. Watch out if it begins with an 8!

You know those little stickers on produce?  They tell a tale of what you're buying.  In these days of genetically modified foods infiltrating every shelf of the grocery store, being knowledgeable about what you're buying is essential.  So here is it:

When there's a five digit label on produce, then pay heed.

If the digit starts with a 9, it's organic.

If the digit starts with an 8, it is genetically modified.

A four digit label represents produce produced in a way other than the above, or the 'usual' way.

Take care of your health by be careful of what goes in it!  I have an aeroponic Tower Garden, using less than 10% of the water and land involved in traditional gardening.  No dirt, no weeds, no fuss!  You can't get more delicious organic or fresher produce than using vegetables just plucked off the vine in your backyard!

Visit www.VitalLives.TowerGarden.com and see for yourself how easy it is to ensure you're getting healthy, wholesome food on your table.
