Fireworks From Airplanes, Highways and Bridges, Oh My!

I got a different view of the fireworks on the Fourth of July My experience seeing the Foster City Fourth of July fireworks from an airplane.

Well, the title says it all, right!? Yeah,I was flying back to San Francisco airport on 4th July evening. And this time I got to see the fireworks in some weird angles!

Of course, how the fireworks glittered from the airplane, I'd have to leave it to your imagination. All i can say is that i could see streams of light going up in the air!

I caught the Foster City Fireworks from the 101 Highway and couple of bridges on my way home, making me twist and turn till I really bent my back to the extent of having some back pain the next morning! But it was really noteworthy to see the show in a 3-D angle with, the helicopters zooming through the firework ashes.

What I continue to remember till today are also a couple of noteworthy shapes that I witnessed in the dazzling fireworks show. One of the most distinct shape in the fireworks were the wheels in pink and blue, vertically placed a couple of degrees away from one another, visible to me in the Z angle! I am sure my description is powerful enough for you to recall these shapes.

Some of the other spectacular shapes that were displayed in the fireworks included the hibiscus floral shape, the rainfall effect, Heliconia floral shape, starry effect, the sword and arrow effect, eagle shape and the waterfall effect. Now, can you visualize these ?

Thousands of people had gathered on the ground, the bridges and every possible corner from where you could catch the breathtaking view. The pride of witnessing the fireworks in Foster City comes from the fact that we not only see them illuminate the sky but, also get to enjoy the cool, shimmering lagoon waters reflecting the dazzling show of light!

The thrill of watching the 4th July fireworks has always driven massive crowd to head over the Leo Ryan Park. The show created an echo effect and peaked at the end!

Although I missed the ooh-aahs of the spectators, engrossed in watching the fireworks, seeing them from the aerial view, the highway and bridges was quite a memorable experience too!
