Voting Results: San Mateo-Foster City School Board

Three candidates seek two open seats on the large school board that encompasses many schools in our area.

The five-member San Mateo-Foster City School District Board of Trustees is elected by residents and serves as the district's governing body. It meets Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. during the school year at the district headquarters in Foster City.

The members are locally elected State officials, who serve for a four year term of office, and who are responsible for the educational program for grades kindergarten through eight.

On the table below, you'll see vote-by-mail results, expected around 8:05 p.m. Tuesday evening, which are votes the county received prior to November 1. The early voting numbers, which represent voting in areas that do not have ballot box locations, are expected around 8:30 p.m. The election day tallies are the actual votes that are cast on election day at the various county election polling locations.
