Public works crews have closed a section of 25th Avenue between Delaware Street and El Camino Real to through traffic as they work to bridge a sinkhole on Delaware.
The gap emerged yesterday afternoon in front of the San Mateo County Event Center.
The hole measures about 20 feet long, 10 feet wide and 24 feet deep, said engineering contractor Sam Isaacson, owner of the Rocklin-based Rising Starz Telecom, on the scene Wednesday morning.
