Mobile Pet Adoption Coming to Hillsdale Shopping Center

The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA will host a special mobile pet adoption three times before the end of the year at Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo.

The Peninsula Humane Society is bringing its mobile pet adoption to Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo this weekend.

The special mobile pet adoption will take place at the mall on Sunday, Oct. 21, as well as Saturday, Nov. 17 and Sunday, Dec. 15, each from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Shoppers are invited to meet shelter animals seeking new homes including cats, kittens, rabbits, dogs and more, in Macy’s center court.

“When the PHS/SPCA brings animals to Hillsdale Shopping Center, we are literally in front of residents who come from all parts of San Mateo County and beyond,” Peninsula Humane Society President Ken White said.

“This provides our animals the best opportunity for adoption and finding forever homes,” he said.

Pets are also available for adoption at the PHS/SPCA shelter, located at 12 Airport Boulevard, in San Mateo. The PHS/SPCA is a private, independent non-profit animal welfare organization that has cared for San Mateo County’s homeless pets for nearly six decades.

The shelter is open weekdays, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For additional information visit www.PHS-SPCA.org.
