Foster City Seeks Techies for Advisory Group

Information Technology Advisory Committee seeks applicants with technical expertise. Nine-member group reports to city council.

Want to talk tech and contribute to the betterment of Foster City at the same time?

The city is offering local residents with expertise in technology and telecommunications a chance to serve their community on the Information Technology Advisory Committee.

The ITAC is currently seeking applicants to join its nine-member committee.

The ITAC meets six times a year and reports to the city council on everything from fiber optics and cable to microwave and satellites.

ITAC members are appointed by the mayor and approved by the council for the three-year unpaid positions.

Foster City residents can download an application to join the group on the city’s website by clicking on the “Committee Application” button on this page or by contacting the office of the city clerk at (650) 286-3250 or clerk@fostercity.org.
