Foster City Citizen Advisory Committee Openings

Foster City residents are encouraged to apply.

Looking for a way to serve your community and be involved?

The city of Foster City is looking for residents interested in serving a full three-year term beginning January 2013 on any of the following Citizen Advisory Committees:

  • Audit – meets in April and November at 7:00 p.m.
  • Information Technology – meets 2nd Tuesdays bi-monthly [January, March, July, September, and November] at 7:00 p.m.
  • Parks & Recreation – meets 1st Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.

Interested applicants are invited to submit applications by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25.  Applicants for all committees are required to attend the November meeting of the committee for which they are applying and will be notified to attend the December 17 City Council meeting for official appointment.  All applicants are considered on a first-come, first-served basis and may be considered for appointment at a subsequent Council meeting if vacancies exist.

Application forms are available at City Hall, by calling 286-3250 or can be downloaded from the City's website atwww.fostercity.org.  Return completed application forms to the City Clerk, City Hall, 610 Foster City Boulevard, Foster City, CA 94404 by Thursday, October 25.  For more information about any of the committees or the process, feel free to contact the City Clerk’s office at 286-3250 or send an e-mail to clerk@fostercity.org.
