Why Did the Ducks Cross the Road?: Police Blotter Friday, June 10 to Sunday, June 12
The following information was supplied by the Foster City police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Friday
3:54 p.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard and Center Park Lane: Duck and ducklings were found trying to cross East Hillsdale Boulevard to the water from Center Park.
6 p.m., Beach Park Boulevard: FCPD helped the Foster City Fire Department locate a wind/kite surfer possibly in distress. The subject was contacted on shore and was fine.

7:30 p.m., Anacapa Lane: A man reported that his mailbox was vandalized. Neighbor whom man has been having ongoing issues with is a possible suspect. No crime occurred. All parties were contacted and advice was rendered regarding their ongoing dispute.
8:12 p.m., FC Teen Vibe: A man reported that his gray and black Diamondback BMX bike was stolen from the basketball court. The bike was valued at $350 and serial numbers were unavailable. A report was taken.

Saturday
8:39 a.m., Taco Bell: Night manager was verbally threatened bodily harm by employee on June 9. The employee is currently on suspension. A report was taken.
11:29 p.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard and Gull Avenue: Jimmy Guerrero of Foster City resident was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to First Chance.
11:48 p.m., Highway 92 and Chess Drive: Paul R. Poblitz of South San Francisco was arrested for possession of a handgun and transported to county jail.
Sunday
1:40 a.m., Tower Lane and West Parkway Lane: Lawrence Saari of Pleasanton was arrested for DUI and transported to First Chance.
10:06 a.m., Marlin Park: FCPD received a report of two subjects sitting by a car eating lunch for an last hour and half, and appear to be casing the area. An area check was made, and subjects were gone on arrival.
11:11 a.m., Comet Drive: Passenger side of vehicle was keyed. A report was taken.
1:58 p.m., Shooting Star Isle: A resident reported that a boatload of teenagers using a boat in the water hit their docked boat. The resident had not checked the boat for damage and wanted an incident report. Other party was a boatload of church kids with their parents who offered to pay for any damage. No damage was done to any boats.
6:30 p.m. Recreation Center: FCPD made contact made with a resident who was using a fishing pole to get something of the building roof. Checks fine, subject was attempting to retrieve a ball.
10:58 p.m., Tender Lane: A woman reported that the rear window on her silver Lexus had been smashed sometime in the last 24 hours. A report was taken.
