Police Log, Oct. 9-14: Cartier Watch Disappears from Gym Locker

Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012

12:08 a.m. - Noise Complaint - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. Rp reports an elderly WFA with white hair and a small dog is outside building and yelling animal noises.

10:50 a.m. - Animal Call - Occurred on Hatteras Ct. Rp reports an aggresive, small, brown dog loose in the area. Dog transported to PD kennel and Animal Control notified.

1:48 p.m. - Harassing Phone Calls - Occurred on Bowfin. Callback requested for an annoying phone call report. Advice rendered and no crime occurred.

Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012

8:52 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred on Meridian Bay Ln. Rp reports it appears the mail boxes have been pryed open. Unable to determine if a crime occurred at the time of the call.

10:23 a.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred at Gull Ave/Crane Ave. Rp reports seeing a BMA, "sloppy clothing" wearing a backwards hat wandering in the area 2 days in a row. 

5:32 p.m. - Fire Assist - Occurred at Windsurfer Park on E 3D Ave. Assistance rendered to FCFD for a water rescue. 

Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012

9:31 a.m. - Sign Removal - Officer initiated activity at Hwy 92/METRO Center Blvd.

10:30 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred at Costco Wholesale on Metro Center Blvd. Report of an elderly female yelling in the parking lot that someone took her car keys. Keys located in the lost and found. 

4:38 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Metro Center Blvd. RP reports losing a black/white Cartier watch valued at $7,000. Watch last seen in the gym locker on 10/09/12 1815hrs; entered APS.

8:02 p.m. - Vehicle Code Violation - Officer initiated activity on E Hillsdale Blvd. Vehicle towed for having registration expired more than six months.

Friday, Oct. 12, 2012

8:56 a.m. - Forgery - Occurred on Promontory Point Ln. Rp rpts theft of checks that were then forged by known suspect. No prosecution desired.

2:11 p.m. - Outside Agency Assist - Occurred on Juno Ln. RP requests attempt to contact a witness to an old homicide case in Daly City. No answer, note left and RP advised.

2:49 p.m. - Disturbance - Officer initiated activity at Foster City Blvd. Officer locate a subjects involved in an argument. Verbal only and situation mediated.

5:15 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred on Mainsail Ct. RP rpts his wife received an unsigned letter from a subj that had information on their family. Informational report taken.

Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012

1:09 a.m. - Disturbance - Occurred at Marlin Park on Marlin Ave. RP rpts hearing 3-4 male voices in the park.

8:58 a.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Constitution Dr. Rp rpts his brother threatened him and was throwing items around the house. Subject left approx 15-20 ago, is not taking his medication and is possibly intoxicated. Determined to be a verbal dispute and no merit to the threat. Area check made with negative results. 

9:19 a.m. - Barking Dog - Occurred on Meridian Bay Ln. Howling dog complaint.

10:23 a.m. - Soliciting W/O Permit - Occurred at CVS Pharmacy on E Hillsdale Blvd. Citizen /customer of CVS is reporting a solicitor in front of the store. Rp advised of a delayed response time due to a priority call. Rp called back at 1030hrs and advised CVS manager contacted the subject and asked him to leave. 

4:03 p.m. - Commercial Burglary - Occurred at Safeway Supermarket on E Hillsdale Blvd. Store reports elderly female left the store without paying for bottles of alcohol. Manager took Suspects purse and stolen items as she fled the store; Report taken with suspect leads.

4:39 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Dominica Ln. RP rpts a guests at a party threw a wine bottle in the middle of the street. Cancelled; glass cleaned up. 

7:17 p.m. - Auto Burglary - Officer initiated activity at El Torito, Vintage Park Dr. Officer locates a vehicle broken into at El Torito. Occurred btwn 1745 and time of call. Taken was a black leather briefcase.

7:42 p.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred at El Torito on Vintage Park Dr. Officer locates a vehicle broken into at El Torito. Occurred btwn 1745 and time of call. Taken was a Coach tote bag.

Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012

3:20 a.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred at Crowne Plaza Foster City on Chess Dr. Case taken for auto burglary. Occurred between 1715 hrs 10/13/12 and 0305 hrs 10/14/12. Taken was a backpack, socks and a laptop; total value approximately $1300. Entry was made via driver's side window smash.

1:45 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Boothbay Ave. RP reports that unknown person(s) vandalized her driver's side mirror with a pumpkin last night. Advice rendered and a report was declined.

3:58 p.m. - Shoplifting - Occurred at Costco Wholesale on Metro Center Blvd. A Burlingame resident was cited & released from the Station for shiplifting.
