Police Log, Oct. 29-31: ATM Vandalized, Loose Dog Returned to Owner

Monday, Oct. 29, 2012

3:05 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred at Touchless Car Wash on Foster City Blvd. Rp reports hearing what he believes to be subjects possibly breaking into the storage area of the car wash. All checks secure and no signs of tampering.

10:22 a.m. - Property for Destruction - Occurred at Foster City Police Dept on E Hillsdale Blvd. Ammunition turned over for destruction.

10:56 a.m. - Found Property - Occurred at Marlin Ave/Foster City Blvd. Purse and lunch bag found at bus stop turned in at the front counter. Owner contacted and retrieved purse and lunch from the station. All items were intact. 

12:32 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred at Crowne Plaza Foster City on Chess Dr. Front counter report of wallet taken between 1710 and 1900 hours on 10/26/12 at the Crowne Plaza.

1:58 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred at St. Lukes Catholic Church on Beach Park Blvd. Little girl's bicycle found on church property. Bike retrieved, entered into APS, and booked into property.

3:28 p.m. - Counterfeit Items - Occurred at Bank Of America on E Hillsdale Blvd. Rp at the front counter states she withdrew cash from B of A account to deposit into a Chase account and was told that one of the $100.00 bills she received from B of A was counterfeit. Chase kept the bill.

Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012

1:29 a.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. Security Guard reports a subject was yelling call the police and pulling trees out of the landscaping. Subject took off on foot. Case taken and forwarded to the DA.

7:33 a.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred at Foster City Blvd/Triton Dr. Male driver in a red Tahoe pulled out in front of RP and cut off school bus. School bus stopped with red flashers and stop sign out.

7:53 a.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred on Shad Ct. Gardeners using leaf blower prior to 0800 - ongoing complaint. Contact made with gardeners. Leaf blower was not in use but in back of the truck. 

8:12 a.m. - Welfare Check - Occurred at Shell Blvd/Beach Park Blvd. Child observed seated and holding their stomach with a bicycle next to them. Last seen walking away with adult pushing the bicycle. Subsequent reports of an auto vs. child accident witnessed earlier near Shell/Catamaran. One witness observed the driver speaking to the father of child and then part their separate ways.  Witnesses unable to provide identifying information of involved parties and no other calls/reports received.

9:57 a.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. ATM screen cracked and scratched and illuminated sign above entrance torn down. Occurred sometime between 1850 hrs last night and 0845 hrs this morning. Estimated $2000.00 in damages. 

3:03 p.m. - Threat Case - Occurred on Constitution Dr. RP states her adult son called threatening to harm his step-father.  Stepfather currently out of town. Restraining order information provided and RP advised to call 911 if needed. 

Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012

8:11 a.m. - Animal Call - Occurred at Pitcairn Dr/Melbourne St. Report of a small white dog loose in the neighborhood. Neighbor assisted in returning the dog to its residence.

2:23 p.m. - Hit-and-Run - Occurred on Tower Ln. 2nd hand report of a possible hit and run that occurred in the parking lot on 10/26/12 between 1330hrs & 1600hrs. Contact made with vehicle owner's secretary who will call back when the victim is available for contact.

6:37 p.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred at Crane Ave/Pelican Ct. 2nd hand report of a subject on a bicycle following children trick-ortreating.

8:26 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Beach Park Blvd. Unknown object thrown at RP's front door damaging it. RP opened door and followed juveniles running from the area. Unable to locate suspects after extensive area check.

11:09 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred on Beach Park Blvd. RP heard glass breaking 10 mins ago in front while hearing a car drive by n/b. No signs of any foul play in the area.
