Police Log, Oct. 23-25: Burglars Snap Up Some Vitamins in Laptop Heist

Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012

8:58 a.m. - Warrant arrest - East Hillsdale Blvd./ Admiralty Lane - An East Palo Alto man was arrested on a $5,000 misdemeanor warrant out of Mountain View. Rocky Pita Lama was cited and released.

12:59 p.m. - Auto burglary - Vintage Park Drive - Burglars smashed in a the side window of a vehicle and grabbed a 15-inch Macbook Pro, a black computer bag, an iPhone charger and vitamins. The burglary occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 12:55 p.m.

10 a.m. - Warrant arrest - Lido Lane - A Foster City man was arrested for two outstanding warrants. Brian Blake was taken to county jail.

11:44 a.m. - Soliciting without a permit - Chess Drive - A male was reportedly selling meat and seafood out of his truck.

2:17 p.m. - Petty theft - Shell Blvd. - A Wilson K61 tennis racquet valued at $220 that was left behind by its owner was reported stolen.

3:04 p.m. - Shoplifting - E. Hillsdale Blvd. - A Redwood City resident was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting. Adrian Maldonado, 28, who is accused of stealing a cell phone, was cited and released.  

 

Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012

10:29 p.m. - DUI - Foster City Blvd./Metro Center Blvd. - A Foster City woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Sara Cox, 28, was taken to First Chance, a San Carlos treatment center.
