Police Log, Oct. 19-22: Remote Controlled Motorboat Used to Harass Lagoon Ducks

Friday, Oct. 19, 2012

1:05 p.m. - Reckless driving - Foster City Blvd./Triton Dr. - A the male driver of a gold Lexus SUV drove onto a lawn and then went into a crosswalk.

6:13 p.m. - Warrant arrest - Venus Ct. - A San Mateo woman was arrested on a $10,000 misdemeanor warrant held by San Mateo County. Sharon Frager, 51, was booked into county jail.

9:05 p..m. - Car burglary - Rock Harbor Ln. - Burglars stole a laptop and backpack valued at about $1,000. The thieves got into the car via a side window smash.

Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012

4:59 p.m. - Hit and run - Chess Dr. - A suspected hit and run driver caused unspecified damage to a parked car. The victim's car was towed.

11:53 p.m. - DUI - Polynesia Dr./Comet Dr. - A Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Robert Thomas, 56, was taken to First Chance, a San Carlos treatment center.

6:06 p.m. and 8:13 p.m.-  Disturbance - Balboa Ln. - Police received repeated reports of a person using a remote controlled motorboat to harass ducks in the lagoon.

 

 

Monday, Oct. 22, 2012

12:37 a.m. -  Suspicious circumstances - Barkentine St. -  Reports of footsteps heard outside a home were determined to be a raccoon.

10:14 a.m. - Trespassing - E. Hillsdale Blvd. -  A store manager asked police to advise a customer he was no longer welcome at his store. The customer was gone when police arrived on the scene.
