Police Log, Oct. 1-4: Bowditch School Vandalized, Man Sunbathes in Spandex

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Oct. 1, 2012

8:08 a.m. - Vandalism - Occurred at Bowditch School on Tarpon. Roof tiles pulled up/removed from main building. Occurred between 1730 hrs 09/28 to TOR. $500.00 estimated damages.

11:40 a.m. - Credit Card Fraud - Occurred on Balboa Ln. Front counter RP reports unknown(s) charged approximately $223.88 on his Chase debit card number at a location in Spain on 09/25/12.

7 p.m. - Graffiti - Occurred on Biscayne Ave. RP reports graffiti at a foreclosed residence that was discovered 2 weeks ago.

7:43 p.m. - Possession of Marijuana - Occurred on Cornwallis Ln. (Hundred block.) 4 WMA's & 1 WFA, early 20's, baggy clothing & backpacks, were smoking marijuana from a bong approximately 5 minutes ago at the playground at the end of Cornwallis Ln.

Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012

6:08 a.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred on Beach Park Blvd. Report of two subjects sleeping in vehicle.

3 p.m. - Traffic Hazard - Occurred at Foster City Blvd/Metro Center Blvd. Pickup truck towing/pulling a vehicle was swerving all over the road. The vehicle exited EB 92 at FCB/MCB and turned WB on MCB.

5:45 p.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred at Ryan Park on E Hillsdale Blvd. RP reports that an older male, gray hair, tanned complexion, is sunbathing in spandex underwear which is offensive to the RP. Subject is in the west end of the park between Safeway & Harbor Cove. 

Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012

9:23 a.m. - Welfare Check - Occurred at Twin Bridges on E Hillsdale Bl/Twin Bridges. Rp requesting a welfare check on a male wrapped up in a tarp with only a foot sticking out. A bicycle and a half empty gallon of milk is nearby. Area checked with negative results.

2:41 p.m. - Citizen Assist - Occurred at Bowditch School on Tarpon. Juvenile RP reports an Apple iPhone 4 that was lost earlier today between 0815-1500 HRS. RP will return with her parent(s) for a report if phone can't be located via GPS. 

Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012

8:01 a.m. - Hit-and-Run - Occurred on Shearwater Isle. RP rpts damage to her vehicle caused by a street sweeper. Superficial damage and no report desired.

10:24 p.m. - Found Property - Officer initiated activity at Port Royal Av/Laguna Cir. Citizen flag down reporting a found wallet. Returned to owner. 

11:23 p.m. - Outside Agency Assist - Occurred at Hwy 92/FCB. Area check made after CHP received a report of a possible drunk driver who exited HWY-92 at the FCB exit, unk direction after that.
