Police Log, May 10-12: Pit Bull Attacks Dog at Party

3:14 a.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred on Gull Av. Report of an older Asian male wearing a blue jacket and shorts w/hand gripper going through peoples garbage and recyclables.
12:56 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred at Trinidad Ln/Corsica Ln. Report of 2 large black dogs loose in the area. RP called back to cancel as owner on scene and dogs contained.
2:58 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred at Erckenbrack Park on Niantic Dr. Rp reports a duffy boat has run ashore. Determined to be occupied by the owner who was taking a nap and is now on his way.
5:48 p.m. - Welfare Check - Occurred on Bridgeport Ln. Foster City elementary teacher reports child made statements he wanted to die to chaperone on field trip today. CPS notified of incident and advised to call PD for welfare check/evaluation. Contact made with juvenile and parents. Checks fine. Juvenile admonished. No merit to threat.

2:12 a.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Chess Dr. Front desk requests police assistance; their security is reporting a combative subject in the parking lot near the Bistro. Situation mediated, verbal argument between family members.
12:43 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Monterey Av. Report of a powerboat in the lagoon. Determined to be an organized boating event which has a permit for one powerboat.
1:45 p.m. - Traffic Hazard - Occurred at Hwy 101/EHB. Rp reports a white Dodge Ram type truck emitting large amounts of black smoke from the tail pipe. Vehicle last seen E/B on Hillsdale heading into FC.
5:19 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred at Marlin Park on Marlin Av. Anonymous RP reports her dog was attacked by a brown pitbull off leash. Dog belongs to someone at a large party at the park.

2:08 a.m. - Vehicle Theft - Occurred on Chess Dr. RP reports his car stolen from the parking structure. Occurred between 05/11/13 at 2230 and time of call. Vehicle entered SVS and BOL sent.
7:56 a.m. - Found Property - Officer initiated activity at Ryan Park, E Hillsdale Bl. Citizen reports property left by amphitheater. Windbreakers and keys located. Owner called to report same items missing/stolen from amphitheater. Items returned.
3:30 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Ribbon. Motorcycle license plate taken today between noon and 1500 hrs. Determined theft occurred in San Mateo.
