Police Log, March 11-13: Injured Duck Found, TV Stolen from Apartment

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, March 11, 2013

7:42 a.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on E Hillsdale Bl/Twin Bridges. RP reports graffiti under the bridge on the East side. Determined to be old graffiti and case taken last week.

7:59 a.m. - Commercial Burglary - Occurred on Chess Dr. RP discovered the lock broken to the gate and observed someone inside with a flashlight. Interior check made with allied agency assistance and no one found inside.

8:30 a.m. - Found Property - Occurred at Beach Park Bl/Gull Ave. Front counter RP turns in cell phone he just found. APS entry made and phone booked into property.

10:02 a.m. - Fraud - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. Via Email to PD, R/P reports discrepancy between making purchase for $45.15 via gas pumps and his credit card bill.

11:01 a.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred on Meridian Bay Ln. Front counter RP reports vehicle burglarized between 02/19-03/11/13. Taken was a coin purse containing 2-twenties and an unknown amount of quarters. Entry made via passenger side window smash. Loss and damage approx. $250.

12:43 p.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred on Catamaran. RP left the apartment door unlocked and family member advised him 60" flat screen TV was missing. RP to contact PD after work for report. 

3:49 p.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Tiller Ln/Wheelhouse Ln. Email report of numerous areas with graffiti.

7:15 a.m. - Found Juvenile - Occurred on Rock Harbor Ln. RP reports 2 subjects asleep inside the clubhouse. 3 subjects contacted, FI'd and admonished. The 3rd subject also determined to be a runway o/o San Mateo and was transported home. 

2:05 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. 2nd hand report of a subject using a stolen prescription pad. Male and female left prior to officers arrival in vehicle driven by a 3rd male suspect. Extensive area check made with negative results. Investigation pending.

Wednesday, March 13, 2013

7:18 p.m. - Animal Call - Officer initiated activity at Halsey Blvd. Officer flagged down for an injured duck. Duck was deceased upon arrival and SPCA was requested for pick up.

9:28 p.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred on Chess Dr. Passenger reports he believes his Taxi driver was under the influence of something due to slurred speech. RP dropped off 5 ago.
