Police Log, July 9-10: Teen Leaves Baskin Robbins Without Paying for Ice Cream

3:03 a.m. - Loud Music - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. Two separate RPs reporting loud music and subjects having a party on the patio balcony.

8:24 a.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred at Avalon Foster City on Marlin Ave. Unknowns cut through fence and locks and took several construction tools, a generator and an air compressor. Est loss of $5000.00.

9:33 a.m. - Leash Law Violation - Occurred at Catamaran Park on Catamaran. Report of subject with dog off leash in the park. Subject contacted and advised of leash law and complied.

12:28 p.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred at Audubon School on Gull Ave. RP reports a silver or gray w/ black accents "hot rod" Mustang drove on the wrong side of the road to cut her off and was last seen southbound on Gull Ave. at a high rate of speed.

1:34 p.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred at Bank Of America on E Hillsdale Blvd. Front Counter RP reports that her vehicle was burglarized. The driver side window was forced open and a GPS was stolen.

3:06 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred at Franciscan on Foster City Blvd. RP at the front counter reporting he noticed his front license plate missing. Unknown where or when.

8:01 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred at Baskin Robbins on Edgewater Blvd. RP reports that  WMJ, 16 Y.O., brown hair, 5'3", 130 LB., orange hat, left approx. 10 minutes ago without paying for his order. Subject contacted, situation mediated and ice cream paid for.

7:24 a.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Ranger Cir, Fcy. Unlocked vehicle entered and ransacked last night btwn 2000 hrs and 0600 hrs this morning. Taken was the garage door opener and cell phone charger. 

9:02 a.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Shell Bridge on Shell Blvd. 3x6 ft name tag on both side of the Shell Bridge. Additional purple graffiti located  facing water & along walkway .

9:38 a.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Vibe on Shell Blvd. Tags on the on door of the storage shed behind the vibe and a trash can. Both in crayon. Additional graffiti located on the wall of the Rec Center. Additonal tag made with gold or orange spray paint was located on the tennis courts. 

1:41 p.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred at Foster City Athletic Club on Chess Dr. 2nd hand reports of subject(s) illegally recycling. Area checked with negative results. Local business owners advised that 2 Chinese subjects have permission to recycle cardboard and 3 HMA's do not. 

3:59 p.m. - Shoplifting - Occurred at Safeway Supermarket on E Hillsdale Blvd. Shoplifters reported last seen driving westbound on E. Hillsdale in a newer black Chrysler 4 door. Subjects stopped and an ensuing probation search did not yield any stolen property. Subjects were FI'd and an informational report was taken.

4:26 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Topsail Ct. RP found bark placed on the back, front, windshield and top of his car. RP believes it is due to political stickers on his vehicle. Determined to be neighborhood juveniles littering.

6:29 p.m. - Residential Burglary - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. RP reports that unknown person(s) burglarized his carport storage locker (carport # 111) sometime between 0845 HRS and TOR. Stolen were a XBox & Playstation 3 video game systems.

6:56 p.m. - Residential Burglary - Occurred on Beach Park Blvd. RP reports that unknown person(s) burglarized his carport storage locker sometime between 0600 HRS and 1820 HRS. Stolen were fishing gear & household items.
