Police Log, July 5-8: Golf Clubs, Laptop, Ice Chest Stolen from Driveway

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests for charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

12:05 p.m. - Noise Complaint - Occurred at Winchester Ct/Port Royal Ave. Anonymous RP reports a vehicle parked on Winchester Ct. with its engine running for the past half hour.

2:09 a.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on East Court Ln. Report of five or six teenagers being loud.

8:55 a.m. - Found Property - Occurred on Shell Blvd. Women's silver ring found turned into PD. Ring booked into property.

10:58 a.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. Front counter RP rpts either dropping her wallet or unknown(s) took it out of her unsecured vehicle.

7:15 p.m. - Battery - Occurred at Foster City Police Dept on E Hillsdale Blvd. Front Counter RP reports that she was punched by a former friend last night at a residence close to Bowditch School. 

10:19 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred at Dominica Ln/Antigua Ln. RP reports 3 HM's, 17-18 Y.O, wearing baseball hats & hoodies, who were attempting to break into a vehicle with a slim jim. Driver had accidentally locked his keys in his vehicles and his friends were attempting to assist him.

10:59 a.m. - Property for Destruction - Occurred on Bounty Dr. Ammo & confidential work papers left behind by previous tenant. RP concerned about proper destruction of items. Documents to be shredded and bullets taken for destruction.

11:37 a.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Beach Park Blvd. RP left his golf clubs, laptop and ice chest unattended in his driveway 5 ago and now they are gone. Area checked clear. Golf clubs in a orange/white Callaway bag.

2:42 p.m. - Commercial Burglary - Occurred at Brewer Island School on Polynesia Dr. RP reports unknown(s) attempted to pry open a window screen to a classroom.

1:17 a.m. - Barking Dog - Occurred on Port Royal Ave. Barking dogs reported.

3:32 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred at Charter Square on Shell Blvd. iPhone 4 cell taken while at Farmer's Market. iPhone tracker shows phone to be in San Mateo now on 40th at Edison. SMPD advised area is apartment complex's and without exact address UTL.

3:42 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred at Golf Mart Inc. on E 3D Ave. Welfare check on small poodle inside car with windows barely cracked and no water in sight. Dog checks fine. No sign of distress and adequate air flow through the vehicle.

5:46 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Nimitz Ln. RP reports she discovered 2 more nails/bolts in her tires that occurred in the past 2 weeks.

7:55 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred on Rock Harbor Ln. RP reports hearing a single gunshot coming from the direction of the levy. Disposition: Quiet on Arrival/Departure.

7:47 a.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. RP reports his vehicle was keyed.

4:19 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred at CVS Pharmacy on E Hillsdale Blvd. Report of a subject who attempted to steal baby formula. Subject left formula in the store. HMA or WMA riding a blue bicycle wearing tanktop. 

5:42 p.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred at Safeway Supermarket on E Hillsdale Blvd. Employee reports AMA stole $500 worth of liquor, left in a Rusty Brown Mini Van with out of state plates.
