Police Log, July 11-12: Man Arrested for Shoplifting at Costco

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, July 11, 2012

12:20 a.m. - Fireworks - Occurred on Hudson Bay. Report of fireworks in the area. Area check made.

9:47 a.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Bicentennial Bridge on Beach Park Blvd. Second hand report of graffiti under the bridge.

2:28 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred at Dog Park on Foster City Blvd. RP requests an Officer regarding an abated verbal dispute between her boyfriend and another dog owner. The other dog owner left prior to arrival and advice was rendered to the RP and her boyfriend.

3:06 p.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred at Marlin Park on Marlin Ave. RP reports two vehicles have driven into the park to unload their kayaks. Subjects contacted, admonished and vehicles moved.

7:51 p.m. - Battery - Occurred at Schooner Bay I Associates, l.p. on Timberhead Ln. RP reports that a WMA, middle aged, bald on top, dark hair on the sides, green tank top or T-shirt, black jogging shorts, punched & knocked him down. Suspect was last seen driving northbound on Edgewater Blvd. in a dark gray with gold trim Ford Explorer or Escape.

8:48 a.m. - Other Code Offense - Occurred at Shad Park on Shad Ct. RP reports finding a receipt associated to someone whom the Rp believes has been littering in the park. Officer attempted to contact the subject who left food wrapping on a park bench. No answer at the residence.

10:37 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred on Leo Dr. RP reports twoWMA's in a small gray vehicle parked across the street. Subjects claimed to be from PG&E although RP saw no markings.

1:29 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. RP calling from the leasing office would like to speak with an officer regarding an irate resident who threatened her. No report deisred and advice provided. Contact pending with other involved party.

4:33 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Libra Ln. RP reports being involved in a road rage incident on EHB. Subject has followed him to listed located. Both parties contacted; no crime.

7:58 p.m. - Shoplifting - Occurred at Costco Wholesale on Metro Center Blvd. Shoplifter in custody. Resident of Connecticut was cited and released from the station for petty theft.
