Police Log, Jan. 9-10: Graffiti Reported on Lift Station

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013

12:09 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstance - Occurred on Libra Ln. RP reports that at least half an hour ago, she heard a noise which could have been her patio gate closing, and now sees a puddle of suspicious liquid on her patio. Residence checks secure, no sign of entry, liquid determined to be water from the RP's sprinkler system.

8:45 a.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred at McDonald's Restaurant on Triton Dr. Rpt of a suspicious male (appears homeless) sitting near or at McDonalds smoking and staring across the street. Subject contacted and asked to leave at the request of the property manager.

9:02 a.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on E 3D Ave. Rp rpts theft of an iPhonefrom her desk. Occurred yesterday between 1145 & 1245hrs.

4:17 p.m. - Suspicious Vehicle - Occurred at Killdeer Ct/Gull Ave. RP report that a suspicous vehicle was last seen exiting the court and heading towards Audubon on Gull Ave. Windows were tinted and the seat was reclined so that the driver was barely visible.

6:04 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred at Starbucks M.c.b. on Metro Center Blvd. Front Counter RP reports that she lost her purse on Sunday at 1300 HRS. Property located and returned to owner.

Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013

6:27 a.m. - Traffic Hazard - Occurred at E 3D Av/Lakeside Dr. 2nd hand report of a traffic signal out. Determined to be due to a power outage. PG&E responded and power restored.

7:22 a.m. - Welfare Check - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. 2nd hand report of a female screaming in the parking lot. First hand witness contacted and advised and X was involved in a verbal dispute and the boyfriend broke off the key in her  car door. She stated she was ok and needed to get to work. Extensive area check made with negative results. 

9:09 a.m. - Found Property - Occurred at Pilgrim Dr/E Hillsdale Blvd. R/P at the front counter turned in a large caliper measuring tool he found in the street earlier this morning.

9:27 a.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Admiralty Ln. Rp at the front counter to report a lost front license plate. Entered SVS.

9:53 a.m. - Found Property - Occurred at Ryan Park on E Hillsdale Blvd. Found wallet turned in at the front counter and returned to owner.

2:44 p.m. - Graffiti - Occurred on Gull Ave. RP reports illegible black spraypaint graffiti on a lift station that occurred sometime in the past 3 months.

3:50 p.m. - Leash Law Violation - Occurred at Port Royal Park on Port Royal Ave. Report of a male wearing a white hoodie and a female all in black allowing their dogs on the turf in the park.
