Police Log, Jan. 5-8: Laptop, Sunglasses Reported Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013

2:45 p.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred at Franciscan Apts on Foster City Blvd. RP reports a suspicious vehicle and subject has been seen the last 2 days in the parking lot of the complex. Driver is female, shoulder length hair and glasses. Subject located, determined to be delivering for "OnTrack" and had paperwork showing an address in the complex. 

4:29 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstance - Occurred on Commons Ln. RP reports part of her screen door has been cut out near the lock. Damage determined to be from power washing the screen; no crime.

4:38 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred on (Unknown Address), Fcy. RP at the front counter turns in a driver's license that he found.

5:13 p.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred on Topsail Ct. Complaint of five to six subjects, one drinking a beer, hanging out at the park. All subjects check fine and subject was drinking an Arizona Iced Tea.

Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013

10:14 a.m. - Vehicle Theft - Occurred on Port Royal Ave. Rp discovered his van missing and believes it was stolen. Occurred between 01/05/13, 2000-1014 hrs todays date. Van in newer condition and had approx $5,000 worth of tools inside. SVS entry made and BOL sent.

4 p.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred on E 3D Ave. Anonymous RP reports that the driver (wearing a red & white ball cap) of a red Chevy pickup was "doing doughnuts" in the parking lot. Vehicle was last seen southbound on Mariners Island Blvd. while RP was on the phone. SMPD was requested to assist in an area check.

10:14 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred at Togo's on E Hillsdale Blvd. Two reports of 5-6 subjects in the grassy common way yelling and appear to be intoxicated. Dispo: Wedding reception guest who friends were attempting to help.

Monday, Jan. 7, 2013

8:07 a.m. - Traffic Hazard - Occurred on Meridian Bay Ln. Complaint of a Bauer Limousine bus parked in the red zone creating a traffic hazard for vehicles leaving the complex. Contact/compliance. Sergeant advised the bus was not creating a traffic hazard.

12:57 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred at Arco on E Hillsdale Blvd. Front Counter RP reports that she lost her wallet after she left it on top of her vehicle and drove away earlier.

1:53 p.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred on Lincoln Center Dr. RP reports that a laptop was stolen sometime between 11-27-12 & 11-31-12. $1500 Dell E6530 laptop.

3:30 p.m. - Fraud - Occurred at Safeway Supermarket on E Hillsdale Blvd. Front counter RP reports that their Target gift card had been fraudulently used online. 

Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013

12:26 p.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred at Eye Health Optometry on E Hillsdale Blvd. RP reports that she discovered multiple sunglasses valued at $1000+ missing after a HMA, 20's, short brown spiky hair (with alot of hair gel), 5'8", 140 LB., black jacket, blue jeans, walked out 15 minutes ago.

2:25 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred on Plymouth Ln. RP found a Pinkalicous  girl's toddler's bike.  Entered into APS. 

4:17 p.m. - Battery - Occurred on Tower Ln. Front Counter RP reports that a co-worker attacked him.
