Police Log, Jan. 25-27: Shoplifting, Defrauding an Innkeeper

9:16 a.m. - Leash Law Violation - Officer initiated activity on Farragut Blvd. Officer locates a dog off leash. Dog returned to owner and owner cited for City Ordinance violation.

12:14 p.m. - Disturbance - Officer initiated activity at E Hillsdale Blvd. Verbal road rage incident located. Both parties contacted and situation abated. 

1:04 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Shell Blvd. Rental vehicle located in parking lot with a window smash. Rental company has a tow scheduled to retrieve victim vehicle from the lot.  

3:52 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. RP reports he lost his black Levi wallet at work yesterday. No report desired. 

6:28 p.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred on Portofino Ln. 30 minutes ago RP told male subject at his door to go away. Subject was jumping up and down and told resident he was going door to door. Subject left unknown direction. 

6:35 p.m. - Commercial Burglary - Occurred on Metro Center Blvd. Report of subjects who came into store, didn't purchase anything and set off theft alarm when leaving. Occurred at 1820 hrs.

11:09 a.m. - Suspicous Person - Occurred on Marlin Ave. 2nd hand report of a male subject yelling and swearing. Subject contacted, determined to be a solicitor involved in a verbal dispute with a resident. Subject advised of the ordinance and FI'd.

3:07 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred on Ketch Ct. Report of a found bicycle near the basketball courts. Released to owner at the front counter. 

3:58 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred on Rock Harbor Ln. RP's dog bitten by another dog approx. 10-15 ago. RP located the other dog's owner and a verbal altercation ensued prior to arrival. All involved parties contacted and each owner agreed to pay for their own veterinarian bills.

4:59 p.m. - Noise Complaint - Occurred on East Court Ln. Loud juveniles screaming profanity from the balcony. RP calling back advising all quiet now.

10:19 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Edgewater Blvd. RP reports that her neighbor pounded on her door approx. 20 minutes ago accusing her of plotting to kidnap his children. All involved parties contacted and advice was rendered.

12:32 a.m. - Loud Music Complaint - Occurred on Greenwich Ln. Loud party reported. Contacted and complied. 

10:37 a.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred at Metro Center Blvd/Foster City Blvd. Report of reckless driver speeding and weaving through traffic. 

11:23 a.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred on Avalon Ave. RP reports theft of jewelry from her residence with possible suspect info. Unknown when the theft occurred and loss estimated at $6800. 

1:54 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Marlin Ave. RP reports his son stole his anti-anxiety medication. Family member is managing RP's medication and no crime occurred.

3:43 p.m. - Shoplifting - Occurred on Metro Center Blvd. Staff reports a shoplifter physically resisting detention in front. SF resident was cited & released from the Police Station for Petty Theft.

7:01 p.m. - Defrauding an Innkeeper - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. 2nd hand report of 2 juveniles refusing to pay. Subjects paid for their meal & left prior to arrival.

9:04 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Portofino Ln. Report of several young subjects in the pool smoking a hookah pipe. Determined to be adult residents smoking flavored tobacco.
