Police Log, Jan. 22-24: BB Gun Damages Vehicle

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013

12:55 a.m. - Suspicious Vehicle - Occurred on Corsica Ln. Report of an unfamiliar vehicle - greenish hatchback - cruising very slowly through the neighborhood. LS heading west towards the end of Trinidad Ln. Area check made.

11:21 a.m. - Bike Theft - Occurred on Flying Fish. New bright blue Schwinn S4001KM Meridian adult tricycle with rear basket taken from ifo garage sometime between 1530 hrs yesterday and 0930 hrs this morning. Est loss of $200.00.

1:08 p.m. - Welfare Check - Occurred at Costco Wholesale on Metro Center Blvd. 2 children left unattended in vehicle. Contact made with parent. Boys 9 & 10 check fine. Parent advised/admonished.

2:27 p.m. - Fraud - Occurred at Chase on E Hillsdale Blvd. Courtesy Report from SFPD received reporting lost wallet and unauthorized use of debit card.

2:42 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on E 3D Ave. Front counter RP reports theft from unlocked vehicle. Occurred 01/21/13 between 1400-1530. Taken was a wallet containing $50.00 in cash and credit cards that have already been canceled.

3:17 p.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred on Trinidad Ln. 12-14 yro male shooting pellet gun. Male stands at rear slider and shoots into the backyard. Rp heard the juvenile has a bb gun rifle as well. Contact made with mother and son who were admonished and advised of the City Ordinance and will comply. 

7:07 p.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred at CVS Pharmacy on E Hillsdale Blvd. RP reports that his black nylon laptop briefcase containing misc. paperwork, calculator & power cord was stolen sometime between 1845 HRS & 1900 HRS. Entry was via left passenger window smash.

Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013

6:07 a.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred on Pizarro Ln. Report of a HMA in a white truck driving in the area. Second time RP has seen him. Subject turns around as soon as he realizes he's been seen. Last seen heading into Lido Ln. Area check made. Similar truck seen delivering newspapers.

1:15 p.m. - Other Code Offense - Occurred at Cvs Pharmacy on E Hillsdale Blvd. Report of what appears to be a fraudulent prescription that was dropped off over the weekend. 

2:07 p.m. - ID Theft - Occurred on Tower Ln. Front counter Rp reports unknown(s) opened a Verizon account under his company name.

5:42 p.m. - Animal Call - Officer initiated activity at Pensacola. Owner of a dead cat in the roadway was notified. Peninsula Humane Society was cancelled. 

8:17 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Marlin Ave. Rp reports his vehicle was keyed by unknowns while parked outside his apartment complex.

Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013

8:17 a.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred at Recreation Center on Shell Blvd. Rp reports a Park and Fly van with a broken window in the Rec Center parking lot. Driver is not on scene. Message left for the owner. 

12:54 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred at Chess Dr/Foster City Blvd. Anonymous RP dropped off a found wallet at the Front Counter.

1:08 p.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Rainbow Bridge on E Hillsdale Blvd. Graffiti reported underneath both sides of the bridge.

1:44 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Catamaran. Rp reports vandalism to his vehicle. Appears to be caused by a bb gun. Occurred sometime between 01/17/13 & 01/21/13.

7:52 p.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred at El Torito on Vintage Park Dr. RP reports that his vehicle was burglarized sometime between 1730 HRS and TOR. Entry was via left passenger window smash and taken was a Dell laptop in a black nylon carrying case.
