Police Log, Jan. 2-3: Boat Collision, Golf Clubs Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013

8 a.m. - Credit Card Fraud - Occurred on Shooting Star Isle. Front counter RP reports unauthorized online charges made against his credit card account. Approx loss $570. 

9:07 a.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Audubon School on Gull Ave. Tip line report of graffiti on the North door of room 12 & the lunch room doors. Employee contacted, graffiti cleaned up and determined to be associated to a previous case.

3:57 p.m. - Boat Collision - Occurred at Edgewater Blvd/Monterey Ave. Front counter RP wishes to rpt boat collision that ocrd 1900hrs. RP states she has neck pain that she declines medical response for.

4:20 p.m. - Leash Law Violation - Occurred at Sea Cloud Park on Sea Cloud Dr. RP reports several dogs off leash with their owners in the park. Contacted & complied.

6:18 p.m. - Prowling - Occurred on Thatcher Ln. Hysterical cell phone caller reports that someone attempted to open her door before disconnecting. Determined to be a family member returning home.

7:28 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Pompano Cir. RP reports 4 sets of junior golf clubs & a razer scooter belonging to a neighbor were stolen from the side of her garage sometime between 1630 HRS and 1700 HRS.   Total value of the junior golf clubs was approximately $200.

Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013

9:57 a.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred on E 3D Ave. RP reports numerous vehicles speeding along East Third Ave.

12:09 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstance - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. 2 male subjects spray painting the clothing donation box in the lot. Subjects contacted and determined to be from the company that placed the box there with permission. 

1:21 p.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred on Edgewater Blvd. RP reports theft of jewelry from her residence sometime between Oct 2012 & Dec 27, 2012. Approximate $2,000.00 loss.

2:44 p.m. - Residential Burglary - Occurred on Beach Park Blvd. RP reports residence broken into sometime between 0845 hours and TOR. Stolen was jewelry, camera equipment, computers, etc., valued at over $15,000.

8 p.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. BMJ teenager was knocking on a resident's door approx. 5 minutes ago requesting entry. Subject contacted, determined to be soliciting with subject from incident 130103093. Both subjects FI'd, advised of city ordinance and picked up by their manager.
