Police Log, Jan. 18-21: Person Reportedly Shoots at Squirrels

Friday, Jan. 18, 2013

10:19 a.m. - Assault - Occurred at Foster City Police Dept on E Hillsdale Blvd. Kaiser ER reports an assault victim. Case taken and no prosecution desired.

10:23 a.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Swordfish/Beach Park Blvd. Rpt of a graffiti on light pole #5569.

11:28 a.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred at Hwy 92/FCB. Rpt of an erratic driver E/B exiting into Foster City.

11:35 a.m. - Battery - Occurred at Costco Wholesale on Metro Center Blvd. Front counter RP reporting cold battery that occurred with customer last night.

1:14 p.m. - Fraud - Occurred at Marina Point on Beach Park Blvd. Front counter RP reports $2,300 worth of charges against her debit card that she can now not find. Case taken for fraudulent use of an access card.

4:01 p.m. - Bike Theft - Occurred on Metro Center Blvd. RP rpts his unlocked red Fugi Tahoe mtn bike was taken from the parking garage. Occurred on 01-11-13 at 1002 hrs. Loss: $800.

4:11 p.m. - Battery - Occurred at Peninsula Jewish Community Ctr on Foster City Blvd. Pre-School Director rpts receiving information from a parent that a teacher struck their child. Investigation continuing. 

7:53 p.m. - Auto Burglary - Occurred at El Torito on Vintage Park Dr. RP rpts the rear passenger window has been smashed and a camera taken. Occurred btwn 1815 hrs and time of call. 

Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013

9:26 a.m. - Animal Call - Occurred on Balboa Ln. 2nd hand report of a subject possibly shooting at squirrels. Reportedly an ongoing issue. Subject was contacted and admonished. No crime was observed.

6:20 p.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred at E Hillsdale Blvd/Edgewater Blvd. RP rpts listed veh weaving and the driver using an iPad. Veh located and no reckless driving or violations observed.

8:27 p.m. - Suspicous Circumstance - Occurred on Crane Ave. Rp reports unknowns placed qtips on her master bedroom floor while she was out of the house. Rp reports strange occurrences have happened before unreported.

Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013

10:26 a.m. - Welfare Check - Occurred on Juno Ln. Caller home care nurse reports resident not answering door  for check up. Checks fine. Resident was on the phone and did not hear doorbell. 

4 p.m. - Suspicous Person - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. RP reports 2 female juvenile neighbors were loitering by his vehicle and just ran off. There was no damage or tampering to RP's vehicle and advice was rendered. 

Monday, Jan. 21, 2013

11:06 a.m. - Non-Injury Crash - Occurred at E Hillsdale Blvd/Shell Blvd. Front counter late rpt of non injury accident that occ'd 30 mins ago where information was exchanged.

2:03 p.m. - Hit-and-Run - Occurred at Safeway Supermarket on E Hillsdale Blvd. Rp came out to parking lot find his truck had been hit/damaged. Rp not sure if damage occured in lot or elsewhere. 

10:45 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Corsica Ln. Case taken after a garage door opener was stolen from the RP's unlocked vehicle.
