Police Log, Jan. 16-17: Subject Attempts to Steal Tires

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013

10 a.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred on Farragut Blvd. Report of subjects possibly living in a vehicle. Vehicle located unoccupied.

10:20 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstance - Occurred on Matsonia Dr. RP reports 2 suspicious subjects entered the gate to her residence then left on foot. 4 subjects contacted, determined to be religious advocates going door to door.

4:44 p.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. RP reports unknown(s) attempted to steal tires from his vehicle while it was in a secured parking area. Occurred between 1730 HRS on 01/16/13 & 0800 HRS today.

Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013

12:01 a.m. - Welfare Check - Occurred on Stern Ln. RP requests a welfare check on his girlfriend who is not answering any of her phones. Contact made with subject who was asleep.

7:32 p.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. RP reports male subject who appears to be raking debris but is suspiciously near a vehicle that has it's engine running. Last seen approx. 20 ago.

12:30 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Pizarro Ln. Front counter RP wishes to report unknown(s) keyed his car sometime in the last month. Unknown where occurred.

4:50 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Triton Dr. Employee reports a WMA having a loud argument on his cell phone that is disturbing other customers and staff. 

4:57 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Catamaran. RP reports he lost his passport. Incident number and advice were provided.

6:36 p.m. - Suspicious Vehicle - Occurred on Ketch Ct. RP reports suspicious male near the park entrance who put on 3 layers of clothing then walked in & out of the park twice.
