Police Log, Jan. 14-15: Man Finds Shopping Bag Containing Marijuana

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Jan. 14, 2013

10:23 a.m. - Civil Case - Occurred on Haddock. RP at the front counter would like advice regarding his estranged wife who closed their bank account and took the money.

12:30 p.m. - Welfare Check - Occurred on Gull Ave. Anonymous RP reports juveniles playing on top of the restrooms.  Contacted and admonished.

12:33 p.m. - Possession of Alcohol by Minor - Occurred on Shell Blvd. RP reports 4 WM's drinking from a bottle of the beer.

3:10 p.m. - Harrassing Phone Calls - Occurred on Tower Ln.  RP reports receiving a threatening phone call.

8:33 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstance - Occurred on Pompano Cir. RP found a shopping bag in his side yard which appears to contain marijuana. Case taken, booked for destruction.

Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013

11:37 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstance - Occurred on Gull Ave.  Report of a suspicious male walking around the campus about 1 hour ago. RP called right back advising subject located, determined to be family member of a student who stopped by to have lunch with the student. 

12:19 p.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred on Surfbird Isle. Assistance rendered to FCFD for a resident burning trash in their backyard. Resident admonished.

1:01 p.m. - Accident w/ Injury - Occurred at Velocity Wy/Vintage Park Dr. Minor injury collision reported. FCFD & AMR responded & were declined. AAA tow responded for both vehicles.

3:45 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred on Port Royal Ave. Report of a found wallet. Owner located shortly after police were called.

5:59 p.m. - Battery - Occurred on Nina Ln. Front Counter RP requests an EPO because her ex-husband is stalking her. Case taken for domestic battery, child endangerment, preventing an emergency phone call & annoying phone calls.

7:24 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstance - Occurred on Beach Park Blvd/Foster City Blvd. RP reports a female driver & male passenger in a white BMW 4 door pulled up next to her daughter on her way home from school and told her she had dropped something behind her (which she had not). Subjects continued to follow her daughter and departed when they observed RP's child making a cell phone call. Subjects were last seen 1545 hours today.
