Police Log, Jan. 11-13: Ninja Star Found at Garage Sale

Friday, Jan. 11, 2013

11:21 a.m. - Noise Complaint - Occurred on Shell Blvd. Rp rpts an ongoing issue with some type of noise. Determined to be a nail gun being used for nearby construction.

12:09 p.m. - Suspicious Mail/Package - Occurred on Sea Spray Ln. Rp at the front counter would like to speak with an officer regarding attempted fraud via the US mail. 

3:06 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Edgewater Blvd. Rp at the front counter would like to speak with an officer regarding a neighbor issue. Determined to be about a leash law issue and officer to make contact with the other party tomorrow.

9:04 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Balboa Ln. RP rpts 4-5 car loads of teenagers at the residence; running up and down the stairs and loitering in the parking lot. 

Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013

12:39 p.m. - Non-Injury Crash - Occurred at Costco Wholesale on Metro Center Blvd. Rp was advised his vehicle was hit and the other driver left the area, unknown DOT. Vehicle has very minor damage. Redwood City PD contacted the other driver of the vehicle who stated she wasn't aware that she hit the R/P's vehicle.

12:54 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred at Foster City Police Dept on E Hillsdale Blvd. Front counter report for lost cell phone. Occ'd between 01/03-01/04/2013.

2:49 p.m. - Property for Destruction - Occurred on Halibut. Rp is having a garage sale, came across a Ninja Star and would like to turn it over to the PD. Ninja Star booked into property for destruction.

5:55 p.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred on Timberhead Ln. RP rpts a Ford Mustang and a smaller sports car were speeding and almost struck him while he was walking. Vehs were seen by 2 officers prior to RP calling and were estimated at driving 25 mph. Area check made with negative results.

7:34 p.m. - Vandalism - Officer initiated activity at Foster City Police Dept, E Hillsdale Blvd. Officer rpts a flat tire to a patrol vehicle due to a deliberately placed home made spike strip type device placed in the driveway to the PD. A second device was located near the same location. 

Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013

12:05 p.m. - Counterfeit Items - Occurred at Orchard Supply Hardware on Metro Center Blvd. RP reports $120 in counterfeit bills were passed last night at approx. 1930 HRS by 2 females. 

12:51 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred at Dog Park on Foster City Blvd. Anonymous Front Counter RP found a white Nokia cell phone with a black protector and holder at the park earlier. Returned to owner at the Front Counter.

4:23 p.m. - Possession of Marijuana - Occurred at Ryan Park on E Hillsdale Blvd. RP reports 2 HMA's, 20's, one wearing a white hat and the other is wearing a red & white striped polo shirt, are smoking marijuana at the amphitheater. Subjects have a white car parked by the Vibe.
