Police Log, April 19-22: Kids Set Garbage Can on Fire

7:49 a.m. - Suspicious Mail - Occurred on Beach Park Bl. RP reports an unattended cardboard box along the fence. Determined to be empty. RP advised.

9:46 a.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Triton Dr., Fcy. 2 employees (only 1 on scene at this time) reporting theft of cash from wallets kept in the employee break room. Occurred 4/17 between 1100-1340 hrs. Total take of $420.00.

11:29 a.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred on Chess Dr. Two subjects shooting bb gun/pellets at ducks under bridge over the lagoon by HWY 92. #1 WMA: on bike, wearing a hat backwards, has a beard, looks unkempt and carrying a backpack. #2 WMA: wearing a white shirt on skateboard. Both looked mid 20's.

2:54 p.m. - Found Juvenile - Occurred at Port Royal North on Port Royal Av/Edgewater Bl. 4 yro male located attempting to cross the street unattended. School calling to report 4 yro missing. Child reunited with mother at the office.

6:05 p.m. - Resisting Arrest - Officer initiated activity on Shell Bl. Several juveniles contacted loitering/smoking. One juvenile arrested for refusing to identify himself and resisting arrest while detained for loitering. Juvenile brought to the station and released to parents.

6:06 a.m. - Assault on Police Officer - Officer initiated activity on E Hillsdale Bl, Foster City. Female jogger approached officers to report a male subject appears to be following her. Subject contacted at the scene. AGORIO, ALVARO, DOB 08/22/93, Foster City resident, arrested and transported to County Jail for assault and battery on a peace officer and resisting arrest.

11:11 a.m. - Reckless Driving - Occurred at Hwy 92/CHESS Dr. 2nd hand report of a reckless WMA driver in a white box truck with "Pucci Foods" written on the side.

11:31 p.m. - Arson - Occurred at Marlin Av/Beach Park Bl. RP reports juveniles on the levee lighting a garbage can on fire. Fire extinguished upon arrival; parents respond to pick up the juveniles and Foster City FD responds to ensure the fire is out.

8:28 a.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Decatur. RP states her ex-boyfriend left her apt. in San Mateo 10 ago after trashing it, driving her 2 door-hatch brown Ford Focus, and is en route to her new boyfriend's residence in Foster City to beat him up. Contact made with residents and case taken for 594 to a window that occurred at 0730 hrs with no prosecution desired.

5:38 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred at Lord Ivelson Ln/Forrestal Ln. RP reports that the finder of his lost keys is refusing to return them to him. Finder originally left a cell phone for RP to call and is no longer answering.

5:54 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Loon Ct. RP reports that the registration tabs on her vehicle are missing.

6:49 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Foster City Bl. RP reports she lost 2 rings at approx. 1200 today. Rings were a white gold & platinum wedding set (soldered together) with a 2 carat diamond, small diamonds and sapphires.
