Police Log, April 15-18: Theft at Old Navy; Dog Left in Car

8:04 a.m. - Commercial Burglary - Occurred at Ceruel Neurotech, Inc on Triton Dr. Apple 27" thunderbolt computer display/monitor taken. No forced entry. Estimated loss of $1000.00. Occurred between 1700 hrs on 04/12 and TOR.

12:35 p.m. - Fraud - Occurred at Bank of America on E Hillsdale Bl. Front Counter RP reports receiving a possible fraudulent check. Informational taken.

1:16 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred at Post Office on Shell Bl. Vehicle parked IFO Post Office with windows up and a little dog inside. Dog was fine and owner was advised of the complaint. 

1:47 p.m. - ID Theft - Occurred at Foster City Police Dept on E Hillsdale Bl. Citizen at the front counter reporting a cell phone account was opened in his name. 

6:59 p.m. - Outside Agency Assist - Occurred at Bridgepointe Parkway/Chess Dr. Area check requested for a grab & run at Old Navy that occurred approx. 5 - 6 minutes ago. Suspects were 2 BM's who fled eastbound through the parking lot in a black van with paper plates. Suspects may have collided with a vehicle during their flight. Loss was 2 bags of cargo pants.

7:23 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Foster City Bl. RP reports that she dropped her purse in the parking lot of her complex and is requesting transportation back to pick it up. Purse was picked up by a neighbor and no loss occurred.

8:26 a.m. - Found Property - Occurred at Foster City Police Dept on E Hillsdale Bl. Found wallet turned into the front counter.

9 a.m. - Found Property - Occurred on Surfbird Isle. Report of Avon brand inflatable boat up on NW side of the bridge onto Surfbird Isle. DPW contacted for pickup.

1:12 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Tower Ln. RP reports that the driver of the vehicle parked next to her may have "keyed" her car. RP was late for a meeting and declined to file a report at this time. 

3:59 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on E Hillsdale Bl. Front Counter RP reports that an Apple iPod Touch and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 tablet were stolen from their office sometime between 04/11/13 & 04/16/13. Loss was estimated at $875 and property was entered into APS.

6:02 p.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred at Rainbow Bridge on E Hillsdale Bl. 2nd hand report of 2 to 3 WM's, 18-22 Y.O., who were standing on top of the bridge approx. 15 minutes ago and shooting BB guns at the RP's wife, which caused her to fall out of her boat & into the lagoon

11:40 a.m. - Residential Burglary - Occurred on Puffin Ct. Rp reports his residence was burglarized sometime between 0705 and 0950hrs today. Taken were 2 Dell laptops, 1 Macbook Air laptop, and 1 Acer laptop.

8:11 p.m. - Bike Theft - Occurred on Rock Harbor Ln. RP reports her black/purple BMX was taken on 04-14-13 between 0900 - 1200. Loss: $80.

9:59 a.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Foster City Bl. Rp reports last night the lobby door was damaged. 

10:29 a.m. - Fraud - Occurred at Wells Fargo Bank on E Hillsdale Bl. Rp reports a subject who deposited a fraudulent $32,000 check at a Berkeley branch is now attempting to cash another check. Desc/ BMA, 5'5, 135, Gray hat, black shirt, gold watch and braces. Subject contacted and no crime observed.

1:18 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred at Costco Wholesale on Metro Center Bl, Fcy. Report of a shoplifter in custody. San Leandro resident was arrested and transported to the County Jail for petty theft and petty theft with priors.

1:35 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred at Port Royal Park on Port Royal Av. RP reports that grass at the park has been vandalized with a torch. Occurred bewteen 04/11/13 0800hrs & 04/18/13 @1250hrs.

7:59 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred on Cumberland Ct. RP reports that his wife was bitten by the neighbors' dog approx. 10 minutes ago. FCFD & AMR were declined. Prior dog bite reports.
