Police Blotter: Thieves Hit Unlucky Sand Cove Parking Spot Again; Vandals Attack Moving Boat

Friday, April 13

12:43 a.m., Port Royal Avenue and Jamaica Street: A Foster City resident was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Zaved Ali, 24, was taken to First Chance, a San Carlos treatment center.

9:59 a.m., Sand Harbor South on Beach Park Boulevard: Vandals keyed a parked car in an open parking lot sometime after 11 p.m. on Thursday.

11:27 a.m., Comet Drive: Vandals pulled out and bent a parked car's windshield wipers sometime after 8 p.m. on Thursday

5:10 p.m., Dog Park on Foster City boulevard: A group of Juveniles on bicycles who threw  a bicycle lock at a boat as it went through an underpass, breaking the top of the boat. No injuries were reported.

 

Sunday, April 15

2:42 a.m., Foster City Boulevard and East Hillsdale Boulevard: A Foster City resident was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Brendan Albuquerque, 26, was taken to First Chance.

4:10 a.m., Catamaran and Beach Park Boulevard: A Foster City resident was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Jeffrey Lin, 30, was taken to First Chance.

11:38 a.m., Sand Cove Apartments on Shell Boulevard: A 1998 Toyota Camry stolen from a carport at Sand Cove Apartments was recovered later in the day across the street from Foster's Landing Apartments on the 600 block of Bounty Drive. The vehicle theft is the second to be stolen from the same parking spot within a month.
