Police Blotter: Teens Caught for Prank Door Knocking

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday


7:34am, Cornwallis Lane/Baffin Street: Police received complaint of the use of leaf blower prior to 8am. Police advised blower operator of city ordinance violation.

10:00am, Catamaran Street: Woman reports to police that her beige Gucci wallet and Garmin GPS were taken from her unlocked vehicle between 9pm Thursday and 7am Friday.

12:58pm, Winchester Court: Woman asks police for advice regarding her neighbor who has cut down the bushes on her property. Police gave advice. All parties contacted and situation mediated.

Saturday

2:45am, Crane Avenue: Neighbor reports six subjects from party are fighting and that one of the subject is in his backyard looking over fence hiding from police. Subject was arrested for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct while under the influence of alcohol and probation violation.

9:34am, Biscayne Avenue: 16-year-old boy claims his 13-year-old brother punched him in his face after he refused to let him use the computer. Boy is extremely upset and hyper ventilating. Emergency personnel make sure he’s OK. Police took assault report with no prosecution desired.

11:23am, Shell Bridge: Mother reports that her 15-year-old son refuses to get in car, a 1992 Red Nissan. Police abated the situation and gave advice.

11:33am, Comet Drive: A resident reports that notes were left on her vehicle in past from someone in the neighborhood and today she found feces on the vehicle. The feces caused no permanent damage. Police gave advice.

10:42pm, East Hillsdale Boulevard: Police arrested Jason Arguello, a 44-year-old Richmond resident, for a no bail warrant out of Contra Costa County for possession of controlled substance.

Sunday

1:15am, Sail Fish Isle: Police respond to a report of four to five people who have been drinking who are on the lawn pushing and shoving each other. Fapiola Tapaatoutai, a 42-year-old Hayward resident, was arrested for public intoxication.

4:39pm, Safeway: Police respond to a report that someone stole a package of chicken strips and french fries from the deli about 20 minutes ago. Subject allegedly stole merchandise that filled a shopping cart this morning. Subject was the passenger in a black Honda that was driven by a male that took off in an unknown direction.

10:10pm, Beach Park Boulevard: Police respond to a woman’s report of an unknown subject suddenly knocking very loudly on her front door. Police checked the area and found several teenagers located nearby who admitted to knocking as a prank. Police admonished the teens and released to them to their parents.

11:21pm, Sandy Hook Court: Anonymous neighbor tells police that a man can be observed every night allowing his dog to urinate on the side yard of 601 Sandy Hook Court. The man and dog were gone on arrival when police arrived.
