Police Blotter: Suspicious Man is a Milk Drinker; Car Thieves Lift $700 Tires

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, March 30

6:17 a.m., Marlin Avenue: Two rears tires valued at about $700 were stolen from a vehicle parked in a carport sometime after 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

9:23 a.m., Ribbon Street: The hit-and-run driver of a gray Honda Fit sideswiped a parked car, knocking off its driver's side window.

1:40 p.m., Bowditch School on Tarpon Street: A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery for pushing his chest up against his teacher. The juvenile had previously threatened the teacher, police said.

4:26 p.m., Foster City Boulevard: Police responded to a report of suspicious man hiding near a building entrance drinking a quart of milk and sweating profusely. He was described as a mid-30s Caucasian wearing a gray sweatshirt and jeans. The man was gone when police arrived.

6:47 p.m., Beach Park Boulevard: A pump and a seat valued at about $160 were stolen from a locked bicycle.

 

Saturday, March 31

8:51 p.m., Freebirds World Burrito on Metro Center Boulevard: Police removed a person who'd been involved in an altercation with a restaurant employee. The trespasser was told not to return.

 

Sunday, April 1

3:30 a.m., Crowne Plaza on Chess Drive: A Redwood City resident was arrested on a $7,500 misdemeanor warrant. Valentin Gonzalez, 29, was taken to county jail.

8:16 p.m., Beach Park Boulevard: A Foster City woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Manda Majic, 46, was taken to First Chance, a San Carlos treatment center.
