Police Blotter: OSH Burglars Caught on Tape; Jewelry and Camera Equipment Swiped in Residential Heist

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, May 7

2:42 p.m., Orchard Supply Hardware on Metro Center Boulevard: Three power tools valued at about $1,000 were stolen at about 2:03 p.m. The burglars were captured on video running away through a nursery gate into a red vehicle.

 

Tuesday, May 8

2:35 p.m., Audubon School on Gull Avenue: A hit and run driver caused unspecified damage to a parked car sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday.

3:18 p.m., Peninsula Jewish Community Center on Foster City Boulevard: A parked car was keyed sometime between April 24-27.

 

Wednesday, May 9

4:43 p.m.,  Bowfin Street: Burglars pried open a side door of a residence and stole camera equipment and jewelry from the home.

7:27 p.m. Catamaran and Beach Park Boulevards: A vehicle was keyed sometime after 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

7:50 p.m., Marquette Lane: An unspecified vandalism act was reported.

7:59 p.m., Catamaran and Beach Park Boulevards: An unspecified vandalism act was reported.

9:14 p.m. Marlin Avenue: Burglars attempted to but failed to pry open a front door. The incident occurred sometime between 8 a.m. and 7:45 p.m.

 

Thursday, May 10

1:10 p.m., Edgewater Boulevard: A hit and run driver caused unspecified damage to a parked car.  A witness left note with information about the suspect's vehicle.

8:00 p.m., Foster City Boulevard: A pink Huffy girls' 21 speed mountain bike was stolen sometime between noon and 12:45 p.m.
