Police Blotter: Multiple Auto Burglaries on Balclutha, Woman Assualted While Walking Dog

Monday

7:07 a.m., Foster City Bridge on Foster City Boulevard: Graffiti was found underneath the bridge, black spray painted letters "BUS" and "TDC." A report was taken.

9:51 a.m., Balclutha Drive: A man reported that his vehicle was broken into via a smashed window while the vehicle was parked in an assigned carport. A report was taken.

9:53 a.m., Balclutha Drive: A man reported that his vehicle was broken into via a smashed window, and that a GPS was taken. A report was taken.

10:14 a.m. Balclutha Drive: An FCPD officer located an additional auto burglary. Ray Ban sunglasses and a car charger were taken. A report was taken.

Tuesday

8:03 a.m., Leo Drive: A vehicle was impounded for over 20 parking tickets on file. 

10:06 a.m., Killdeer Park on Killdeer Court: A man was seen walking through the park in a khaki robe and pajamas with no shoes. Subject, who lives nearby, was contacted and checks fine.

Wednesday

7:42 a.m., Foster City Boulevard: A resident's vehicle passenger window was smashed and pushed in. A note was found on the vehicle from a landscaper advising window was smashed by rock along with contact information for repair/replacement.

8:30 a.m., Beach Park Boulevard: A resdient's vehicle was vandalized the previous night. Unknown suspect used a sharp object to scratch the right front fender. A report was taken.

1:18 p.m., Marlin Cove Shopping Center on Foster City Boulevard: FCPD received a report of approximately 25 juveniles in front of Round Table Pizza who the reporting person senses are going to fight or cause trouble. Juveniles had dispersed prior to arrival and all checked fine.

4:47 p.m., Balboa Lane: A man attempted to turn in a firearm for destruction. After speaking with an officer, he realized that the item is historic and decided to keep the firearm.

11:48 p.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard and Sea Spray Lane: Christine C. Risso of San Mateo was arrested and booked into the County Jail for possession of a controlled substance.

Thursday

1:43 a.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard and Pilgrim Drive: A juvenile Palo Alto resident was arrested for driving under the influence and released to a parent at the station.

5:33 p.m., Farragut Park on Farragut Boulevard: Female called 911, stated that she was attacked by another woman because she was walking her dog in the park. Helen Silva of Foster City was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the County Jail.

8:03 p.m., Balclutha Drive and Comet Drive: A resident reported that a white male adult wearing glasses, a yellow shirt, dark slacks going door to door preaching. Man was gone on FCPD's arrival.
