Police Blotter, May 24: Contractor Steals iPad 2

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

12:57 a.m. - Noise Complaint - Occurred on Shell Blvd. Loud music issuing from a first floor unit.

10:46 a.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Village Lane. Front counter RP reports having lost a $2,600 hearing aide at approx 9:30 a.m.

2:21 p.m. - Hit-and-Run - Occurred on Somerset Lane. Fifteen minutes ago a vehicle passed and hit/side swiped a parked vehicle. The suspect vehicle is a gray Buick Lacrosse driven by Asian female in her late 60's with one or two teenagers in back.

3:29 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred on Loon Court. Dog in backayrd barking all day long. Dog barking on arrival. No response at door. Note left advising resident of complaint.

6:03 p.m. - Shoplifting - Occurred on E Hillsdale Blvd. Manager reports an uncooperative shoplifter before disconnecting. Juvenile was detained and released to his father after it was determined that no crime occurred.

8:41 p.m. - Theft - Occurred on Timberhead Lane. RP reports that her iPad 2 was stolen by a contractor.
