Police Blotter: Juveniles Jump off Shell Bridge, Multiple Reports of Dogs Off Leash

The following information was supplied by the Foster City police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday

12:19 a.m., Hwy 92 and Foster City Boulevard: A resident reported  seeing two white male adults drinking what appeared to be beer while driving. An extensive area check made with negative results.

Saturday

5:52 p.m., Port Royal Park: Two teen-aged males were walking a brown retriever off leash on the bay trail. A reporting person tried to ask them to leash the dog and subjects were rude to her. 

Sunday

8:04 a.m., Costco Wholesale on Metro Center Boulevard: FCPD received a report of black/brown medium size dog that appears to have an injured leg laying in the back lot. Animal control responded for the dog.

9:19 a.m., Stilt Court: Officer locates dog jumping on unknown Asian female with young child and small dog. Dog was chased home and owner was contacted. Owner was cited and released for dog off leash.

5:10 p.m., Shell Bridge: FCPD received a report of juveniles jumping off the bridge into the water. Contact was made with one subject who was admonished.

Monday

9:14 a.m., CVS Pharmacy: Tow company attempting to tow vehicle reported that the owner of vehicle refused to get out of vehicle. Subjects were contacted and the situation was mediated.

3:49 p.m., Recreation Center: FCPD received a complaint of a group of subjects smoking marijuana. Contact was made with the subjects who held active cannabis cards. 

6:21 p.m., Recreation Center: A citizen flagged down an officer to report a subject possibly selling drugs near the restrooms. Subject was contacted and no crime occurred.
