Police Blotter, June 9-10: Person Cuts Hand, Smears Blood Throughout Building

12:14 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. Resident reports to officer hearing female yelling, slamming drawers/doors and banging from unit.   Contact made. Male half GOA but returned. Confirmed verbal only. Situation mediated male left for the day.

1:05 p.m. - Non-Injury Crash - Occurred at Starbucks on Metro Center Blvd. Non injury accident in parking lot. Silver Toyota Corolla vs. white BMW 650.

5:25 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Emerald Bay Lane. Front Counter RP reports she lost her black leather purse (containing her cell phone & medication ) after she accidentally left it on top of her car and drove away.

6:04 p.m. - Noise Complaint - Occurred on Spinnaker. (Hundred block.) Loud backyard birthday party reported.

6:08 p.m. - Traffic Hazard - Occurred on Beach Park Blvd. RP reports an unattended dog without a leash waiting by a vehicle.

11:12 p.m. - Noise Complaint - Occurred at Peninsula Jewish Community Ctr on Foster City Blvd. Multiple residents advise in the outside pool area large amount of juveniles screaming and yelling, inside building disco lights and loud DJ. Location is being rented out for a high school graduation and outside party should stop soon.

8:33 a.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Foster City Blvd. RP reports finding what appears to be blood smeared in the foyer of building, first flight of stairs and the elevator. Case taken for vandalism. Appears someone cut their hand on a bottle (located outside) and deliberately smeared blood on multiple surfaces on every floor of the building. Management contacted and is taking care of clean up.

10:26 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred on Marlin Ave. RP reports unknown(s) banging on the front and rear doors of the house.  Determined to be the estranged spouse of the home owner attempting to retrieve property. Arrangements to be made at a later time and situation mediated. 

1:36 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred at Chevy's Mexican Restaurant on Edgewater Blvd. Disconnected CHP transfer/no answer on call back reporting a dog locked inside a vehicle with the windows up. Area checked with negative results. 

3:15 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred at Ketch Park on Ketch Ct. RP reports finding a bag of expensive items unattended in the park. She believes she knows the owner and finds is suspicious it's unattended. Owner located and property returned.

3:27 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred at Shell Bridge on Shell Blvd. RP reports approx 5 ago he saw a male wearing a yellow shirt, yelling at a female on the west side of the bridge. Male subject contacted denied any issue with anyone. Extensive area check made for the  female with negative results.
