Police Blotter, June 28-29: Possible Gunshots Heard

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, June 28, 2012

7:28 a.m. - Vandalism - Occurred at Valero on Foster City Blvd. RP reports one of their vehicles was tagged over night with black spray paint. Damage approx $50.

11:36 a.m. - Lost Property - Occurred at Wells Fargo Bank on E Hillsdale Blvd. Cell phone lost while at Wells Fargo ATM. Black Motorola Droid touch screen phone entered into APS.

12:05 p.m. - Threat - Occurred on Velocity Way. RP reports he was threatened last week by an employee that has just been terminated. No direct threat; just a general statement.

12:18 p.m. - Grand Theft - Occurred on Promontory Point Lane. RP reports a bag of jewelry missing during a recent move. Loss:  $19,000.

5:18 p.m. - Suspicious Person - Occurred at Vibe on Shell Blvd. Vibe employee reports that a WMA, wearing a dark beanie & red shirt is loitering at the skate park and "acting creepy & weird." No crime was committed and advice was rendered to the RP. 

10:53 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Occurred at Marlin Park on Marlin Ave. RP heard 2 possible gunshots approximatley 2 minutes ago. Another witness reports that 3 possibly involved juveniles left in a SUV with a tail light out after witness heard a bang & saw smoke emanating from the park restroom. Subjects were GOA and no damage was detected in the restroom.

2:52 a.m. - Noise Complaint - Occurred at Marlin Park on Marlin Ave. Report of several subjects talking and causing noise. Contact/compliance.

7:25 a.m. - Vandalism - Occurred at Catamaran Park on Catamaran. RP reports unknown(s) attempted to move a picnic table that was bolted down and damaged the frame. Did not meet elements for vandalism. Table is repairable and incident number provided. 

12:49 p.m. - Vandalism - Occurred on Nimitz Ln. RP has found another nail in one of her tires. Incident number provided and no report desired.

3:20 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred at Pitcairn Dr/San Clemente Ln. Several reports of a dead animal in the roadway. Animal control advised for a deceased dog. 

7:56 p.m. - Disturbance - Officer initiated activity at Metro Center Blvd/Foster City Blvd.Officer flagged down for a road rage incident. All involved parties contacted and admonished.
