Police Blotter, June 1-3: Kid Reports Being Swindled By 'Rigged' Carnival Games

11 a.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Avalon Ave. Resident at the front counter states he was followed home by a driver he had a roadrage incident with in San Jose and RP believes the driver has been passing by his residence.

5:51 p.m. - Civil Dispute - Occurred at Recreation Center on Shell Blvd. Juvenile RP requests assistance due to being swindled by "rigged" carnival games. Advice was rendered and parent declined any further Police assistance.

8:08 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred at Recreation Center on Shell Blvd. RP lost an iPod Touch at the fairground within the last 30 minutes.

12:15 a.m. - Disturbance - Occurred at Beach Park Blvd./Marlin Ave. RP reports juveniles possibly in possession of alcohol on the levy south of Beach Park Blvd. & Tarpon St. Subjects contacted, were not juveniles and had no alcohol in their possession.

12:21 a.m. - Battery - Occurred at Crowne Plaza Foster City on Chess Dr. 2nd hand report of an abated physical altercation inside the Bistro. Both sujects contacted, both were intoxicated, neither wished to cooperate with an investigation, neither wished prosecution.

9:57 a.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Tarpon. Vehicle parked in driveway was entered sometime overnight. Taken were 2 3GS iPhones, a wallet containing 25-30 dollars cash and misc cards. A checkbook was left but unkn if any checks missing. Unkn entry. RP unsure if car locked or unlocked.

3:13 p.m. - Vehicle Theft - Occurred on Admiralty Lane. Vehicle taken from parking stall. Vehicle is missing the front plate from a prior 10851 recovered 4 years ago on an SVS plate return. Vehicle has a dent on the driver side fender. SMPD contacted to removed SVS plate entry. 

4:19 p.m. - Battery - Occurred on Metro Center Blvd. 2nd hand report via FCFD of a fistfight in the Starbucks/Jamba Juice parking lot. No crime was observed and unable to locate any witnesses.

9:49 a.m. - Leash Law Violation - Occurred on Chrysopolis Dr. Report of a small black dog running loose. Dog returned to owner.

1 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred at Foster City Police Dept on Shell Blvd. RP at the front counter reports his daughter lost her black iTouch 4 last night at the Art and Wine Carnival. iTouch had a clear jewel case; entered APS.
