Police Blotter: Jewelry, Laptop, Stolen in Residential Burglary, Witness Spots Crooks Driving off in White Buick

Tuesday, March 20

7:46 a.m., Marlin Avenue: A hit and run driver sideswiped a parked car causing unspecified damages. The incident occurred sometime after 4:45 p.m. on Monday.

10:56 a.m., Harvester Drive: Burglars stole jewelry and a laptop computer valued at approximately $5,000 from a residential unit. A witness told police the burglars, described as a man and a woman - both of unknown race - drove off in a white four-door Buick with large spinner wheels.

12:08 a.m., Nimitz Lane: Vandals punctured the tire of a parked car with a nail causing unspecified damages.

2:47 p.m., Beach Park Boulevard: Burglars stole a bag containing miscellaneous items and $80 in cash from the  parked car of a woman who was moving. The total loss was estimated at $240.

3:08 p.m., Albacore Lane: A Redwood City man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Frank Jackson, 46, was taken to First Chance, a San Carlos treatment center.

 

Thursday, March 21

12:34 a.m., Chevron station on East Hillsdale Boulevard: An Oakland man was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of San Francisco. Maxeell Garcia, 32, was cited and released on $2,500 bail.
